Fall has arrived (and winter will be here sooner than you think) – and we’ve all the right beers for the season. Plus we’ve some interesting new offerings from Lagunitas and Highland Brewing that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Winter’s Coming (Asheville, NC) – Highland Brewing will soon be releasing an “uber-popular” seasonal that will ready you for the season to come. Highland Imperial Cold Mountain is an 8% ABV take on their beloved spiced Winter Warmer that they describe as a bit more chocolate-forward this time around.

Happily Not Hoppy (Akureyri) – Iceland’s leading producer of craft beer, Einstök Ölgerð is introducing something “glacial” in the states that’s decidedly un-hoppy. Einstök Ölgerð Icelandic Wee Heavy is a massive 85 ABV “Viking-grade” Scotch Ale that up till now was only available in Iceland and in Europe.

, Newbies – More Seasonal Craft Beers You Need NowBorn Yesterday (Petaluma, CA) – Like pumpkin ales and the Oktoberfest releases, fresh hop beers color the fall season and Lagunitas Brewing just returned theirs. A fresh-hopped variation of their popular Dogtown Pale, Lagunitas Born Yesterday Pale Ale is a 7% ABV, lupulin-drenched and un-kilned take on a classic.

The Fall Pumpkin Parade Continues (Cleveland, OH) – This week’s addition to the ongoing pumpkin parade comes from the Great Lakes Brewing crew. A 5.4% ABV cornucopia of earthy seasonal spices and roasted pumpkins puree, Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale and can be savored directly from the tap, as it’s a pub exclusive this year.
