How come we’re not surprised to learn that Lagunitas has partnered with CannaCraft, a leading seed-to-shelf Northern California cannabis producer & distributor?
Turns out CannaCraft’s extract arm is helping them with a new cannabis beer.
And Lagunitas is helping the California pot producer with a new vape cartridge that uses Lagunitas hop recipes.
Here’s the deal…
Acknowledging the close relationship between cannabis and hops, Lagunitas has teamed up with CannaCraft’s AbsoluteXtracts, on a twofold “SuperCritical” project that is understandably (and necessarily) a California-only release.
First the beer…
Lagunitas SuperCritical is a 6.6% ABV ale brewed with Cannabis terpenes provided by CannaCraft’s AbsoluteXtracts‘ division.
In this case the marijuana terpenes used are all about the beer’s aroma. And because the beer doesn’t actually contain pot’s psychoactive compound THC, it won’t give you that kind of head.
But the Supercritical Vape most certainly will….
Supercritical Vape with hop terpenes (and recipes provided by Lagunitas) is all about the head. And given AbsoluteXtracts leading reputation for distilling oils made from sun-grown cannabis and Lagunitas’ understanding of hops we predict a fun ride.
Appropriately part of Lagunitas’ One Hitter Series, SuperCritical Ale is available across California beginning this week. And the release dates for AbsoluteXtracts’ forthcoming SuperCritical vape cartridges will be subject to AbsoluteXtracts’ production schedule.
