This weekend’s new beer offerings are surprisingly exotic for this time of year…So welcome to our latest June Beer Run …and there’s lots of things to like here.

Thirsty Monk Collaborates with Baere Brewing on Grisette Project (Denver, CO) – A new Grisette collaboration from Thirsty Monk and Baere Brewing Co. is being released at Thirsty Monk’s Denver brewery this week. Similar to a Saison, a Grisette is a beer style originally brewed in Belgium’s Hainaut province that’s dry and sessionable but features a prominent hop profile. Aged in Cognac barrels and available in bottles later this summer, this Thirsty Monk Grisette promises tart, refreshing and complex dinking.

Yes We CAN! (Pacific City, OR) – Pelican Brewing has debuted its first-ever canned beer with a new summertime seasonal that’s primed for the beach. Bursting with intensely juicy hop aromas, Pelican Hazy Rock Juicy IPA is a 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale with a bright, fruity hop flavors and notes of mango, clementine, guava and pineapple!

A Lemongrass Gas (St Louis, MO) – Schlafly Beer has a new Cellar Selection Series release that you might want to look out for. Brewed assertively for a complex depth of flavor, Schlafly Hibiscus & Lemongrass Blonde Ale is a 4.7% ABV summertime refresher with bight lemongrass aromatics and tart hibiscus-fueled flavors.

Brewed with 4 hop distinct hop varieties Lonerider “For A Few Hops More” is a flavorful 5.5% ABV American-style Wheat Ale  that’s fresh, clean, and light on the palate.

Ways To Get Pickled (Everett MA) – Down The Road Beer has partnered with Boston’s beloved Grillo’s Pickles to craft their newest limited release…and yes, it involves pickles. Debuting this weekend at the Boston Pickle Fair (where else?)  Sam-Sam The Pickle Man is described as spicy dill pickle sour that will also become available on draft and for purchase in takeaway cans at Down The Road’s Everett taproom.
