Stone Tanks In Richmond! (Virginia) – Stone Brewing made a massive addition to their East Coast hub last Thursday, when four gigantic tanks weighing 12.25 tons each, ended their extended barge journey up the James River and arrived at Stone’s East Richmond brewery. These four German crafted additions, which according to the Richmond Dispatch will be able to house more than 1000 barrels of beer apiece, include two fermenters and two brite beer tanks.

Chinese Brewers Tap Into Canadian Barley (Winnipeg, CAN/ Beijing, CHN) – According to REUTERS “China has more than doubled its purchases of Canadian barley, taking advantage of bargain prices for the beer ingredient due to abundant high-quality supplies in Canada.” Unfortunately Canada’s ‘export bonanza’ comes at the expense of the world’s two biggest barley exporters, Australia and Europe, where this year’s harvests were savaged by a mix of drought and excessive rains.

One of Tesla’s largest reported pre-orders EVER, these 40 semi-trucks will be fully electric-powered, and according to Anheuser-Busch, they’ll all equipped with autonomous driving capabilities.

Anheuser-Busch projects that the eventual integration of Tesla’s driverless delivery trucks into their extensive distribution network will reduce the company’s carbon footprint by 30 percent by 2025, which is the equivalent of removing nearly 500,000 cars from the road globally each year!
