And next Monday is the start of American Craft Beer Week- a HUGE nationwide celebration that’s taking place May 15th– 21th. And you’ll need to be ready for that too, because a lot of cities are starting things this weekend! And, oh yeah, it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday as well, so this weekend will be busy!

A Five Boro Throwdown (Brooklyn, NY) – New York’s exciting local and regional craft beer scene comes together this weekend when the Five Boro Craft Beer Fest goes to The Well on Saturday night for an evening of serious beer, serious music, serious food and serious fun. This year’s throwdown will feature over 100 artisan craft beers the region’s best breweries, several of them small-batch release that were brewed especially for this event.

Charlie Hunnam star’s as Arthur this decade’s version the man robbed of his birthright who would (and will) eventually become king.

Get Canned This Weekend! (Phoenix, AZ) – This Saturday (May 13th) SanTan Brewing  will once again be hosting the AmeriCan Canned Craft Beer Festival – a celebration of serious canned craft beers. Taking place for the first time this year at Margaret T Hance Park this year’s celebration will feature over 250 canned craft beer rarities from the nation’s best breweries as well as the Craft Can Award Ceremony, live music, and artisan foods.

TV Time & Streaming – The HBO network dominated last year’s Emmy’s and shows like The Leftovers, which has returned for its third and final season, explain why. Still on a roll from last Friday’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations we’re planning on tapping a special Hatchery Series release that we recently from SweetWater Brewing this weekend. Currently only available as part of the brewery’s Summer Variety Pack, SweetWater Mexican Style Lager is a super-crisp, light-bodied 4.8% ABV refresher, that they’re saying may come to 6-packs very soon.
