Beer Drinking Heightens Your Ability To Read Emotions In Others (Vienna, Austria) – A new study just released by the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology has found that beer helps people read certain emotions in others more effectively. Participants in the study were reportedly given a beer and then shown images of six kinds of emotions including sadness, disgust, surprise, fear, and happiness. Not surprisingly to us at ACB, the primary emotion that beer drinkers seem to read better when drinking is happiness.
Massachusetts Brewers Guild Gets Their Man (Everett, MA) – Night Shift Brewing’s Rob Burn’s has been elected the guild’s new president and, effective immediately, will begin “promoting the hell out of MA brewers.”

Stone is Officially “Offnen” For Business in Germany (Berlin) – Stone Brewing has announced that they’ve officially thrown open the doors to their new destination restaurant and beer emporium, and are now offering 75 different beers (the largest selection on tap in the entire country of Germany!) –and are currently distributing their offerings to 17 countries throughout Europe.
