Democratic candidate for governor Alec Ross announced Julie Verratti as his running mate today.
Julie is a co-founder and co-owner of Denizens Brewing in Silver Spring, MD and is a former Senior Advisor at the US Small Business Association and LGBT political activist.
Julie lives in Silver Spring with her wife, Emily Bruno who along with Jeff Ramirez, launched Denizens Brewing Co in 2014.
