Pacific Brewing Laboratory Squid Ink IBA (India Black Ale)

This twist on a traditional West Coast IPA adds new complexity, aroma and color to a great beer style. We start with a West Coast IPA backbone and then add darker roasted grains to give a roasted chocolate flavor combined with a bigger mouth feel. Citrus and pine hop aromas draw you in and a color that is as opaque as Squid Ink and you have our IBA!

This is a beer that will appeal to customers that like American IPAs and similarly high hopped beers. It also appeals to dark hearty beer drinkers. Squid Ink pairs well with bold flavored foods. The assertive hop presence cuts through the richer, fattier spectrum of foods as well.
