Canadian Craft Beer Gets Serious (Toronto, Canada) – One of Canada’s most exciting cities is hosting a three day craft beerganza this weekend (June 21-23). And it’s one with an international draw. Featuring more Canadian craft breweries than ever before, this year’s Toronto Craft Beer Festival has upped the ante on SERIOUS BEER, so maybe it’s time for a road-trip…eh?
On The Big Screen – In spite of its advance critical buzz, this weekend’s big movie pick might not be for everyone. In Nightmare Cinema, a twisted horror anthology, five strangers are drawn to an abandoned theater and forced by its demented projectionist to watch their deepest and darkest fears play out in his collection of disturbing films. Yes? No? Maybe?
Colorado Calling (Greeley, CO) – WeldWerks Brewing Co is pulling out all the stops for the 2019 WeldWerks Invitational on Saturday, June 22. And if you were lucky enough to score tickets to this two session beerganza, you’ve got to be excited. This year’s highly anticipated festival (which is expected to draw more than 1,300 attendees) features 47 of the country’s best breweries from 15 different states, pouring some of their most exciting limited release specialty and unique barrel-aged offerings. While both Saturday sessions are sold out, beer lovers have an opportunity to try some of WeldWerks’ exclusive festival offerings at the brewery during regular business hours on Friday, June 21 from 12 to 10 pm.
