July will soon be a memory and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down this weekend.

Just How Things Gose ( Athens, GA) – A Gose (pronounced GO-zuh) is a traditional German-style unfiltered wheat beer made with salt and coriander that typically has a tartness, similar to the Berliner Weisse. And Creature Comforts Brewing puts a truly unique spin on the style.

Brewed with cucumber, lime, sea salt, coriander, and the brewery’s house blend of lactobacillus, Creature Comforts Tritonia is refreshing 4.5% ABV Gose Wheat Ale that pairs the cool freshness of cucumber with the crisp tartness of lime.

, Weekend Beer: Tart Wheat Ales And Vienna LagersSpared (Astoria, OR) – Buoy Beer Company’s latest Lager Series release, was the last beer canned in their original building prior to a partial collapse but it escaped the devastation and is now available in 16oz cans. Inspired by the classic Vienna lagers of Austria as well as Mexico’s darker stylistic adaptations, Buoy Beer’s Vienna Lager is a 5.3% ABV limited release with a deep amber color, a subtle hop bitterness, and a nutty finish.

“A dark beer for dark times… I mean summertime!” says Matt Jones, Head Brewer. “Vienna Lager is malty up front with a bit of black licorice and a clean pallet-quenching dryness on the finish. It’s made with a blend of Pilsner and Vienna malt and is perfect for sitting around a campfire or a grill.”

Hitting The Beach (Charlotte, NC) – Sycamore Brewing has released a summer-ready variation of one of its most popular beers. Brewed with a specially curated mix of hops that limit the piney taste of a traditional IPA, and allow for the tropical fruits and notes of citrus, berry and candy to shine, Sycamore Beach Candy is a 6% ABV easy-drinking IPA with a minimal malt menu that allows its citrus, berry and candy notes to shine.
