The seasons are changing and craft brewers are keeping things interesting with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down as things warm up.

Summit Plays Ball (St Paull, MN) – In April 2021, the two beloved Minnesota brands, Summit Brewing and the Minnesota Twins announced a new partnership that named Summit Brewing as an “Official Craft Beer” and the “Official Hometown Craft Beer” of the Minnesota Twins. And now nearly a year after announcing the partnership, Summit Brewing is releasing a new beer named in honor of its hometown team.

Actually a rebranding of one of the brewery’s most popular releases, Keller Pils, Summit Twins Pils is a 5.1% ABV German-Style Pilsner with craft can artwork that was inspired by the throwback Twins’ jerseys from the 1980s.

“Since its introduction, Keller Pils has been a Summit fan favorite. So much so, what started out as a limited release became a core brand,” said Brandon Bland, Director of Sales. “After years of knowing how good the beer itself was, we knew we had to find a way to get it out to a wider audience.”

Just The Beginning (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing is celebrating a milestone that few craft breweries could accomplish, its 5000th batch of beer! Brewed with Pale and Munich malts and hopped with Nugget, Azacca, and Mosaic before being aged in  in Ransom Old Tom Gin barrels for over 5 months, Ecliptic 5000 is a massive 13% ABV Barrel-aged Golden Barleywine with big  oak and gin aromatics.

“This beer was inspired by Larry Bell and how he names milestone batches at Bell’s Brewery,” said Ecliptic Founder and Brewmaster, John Harris. “We were so busy that I missed our 1000 and 2500 batches!”

Marga-Amazing (Garland, TX) – In 2019 Lakewood Brewing melded the instincts of an authentic margarita with a Mexican Lager and created what is now one of the brewery’s most popular and successful beers. Brewed with agave, orange peel, key lime and lime juice and just a hint of sea salt, Lakewood Muy Importante Margarita Mexican Lager is a 4.7% ABV patio pleaser that combines the best of both worlds.
