USA Today Picks The Best New US Breweries – 2026

Hundreds of new craft breweries open across the United States each year. On March 4, USA Today announced its take on the 10 Best New Breweries in the US.
To determine the best new breweries in the nation, USA Today asked a panel of beer experts to nominate their top picks for breweries that have been in operation since 2023. Readers then voted from that list to decide this year’s winners.
So now (drum roll, please…), here are the 10 best new breweries across the country, according to USA Today and its readers.
1# Hearth Brewing (Harrison, Ohio) — This family-owned brewery, known for its stone-fired pizzas, is located in a rustic, lodge-like setting centered around a massive two-story fireplace—which inspired its name. Founded by the Otis family (father Greg and son Cory) alongside friend Andy Plogsted, the brewery focuses on “great beer for great people” paired with destination-quality food.
