US Craft Breweries Show Continued Growth in 2016

Our friends at the Brewers Association just released their report on the overall health of American craft breweries in 2016 and the prognosis, although understandably slowing, remains good.

Beer volume rose 6 percent last year with 24.6 million barrels of craft beer having been produced last year. Beer sales also remained relatively healthy (we did our part) showing a 10 percent increase in retail dollar value.

And with more than 5,300 breweries now online in the US, we’ve got to admit these stats are much better than we’d expected.
