Trillium’s Beer Garden Returns To Boston this Summer

Trillium, Trillium’s Beer Garden Returns To Boston this Summer

One of the Northeast’s most progressive craft breweries, has announced the much-anticipated return of its beer garden to downtown Boston for a third year.

It’s been more than three years since Boston’s Greenway Conservancy first tapped Trillium Brewing to operate its open-air beer garden in Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway Park and what started as a conceptual “maybe” has become a summertime beer institution.

Adjoining Boston’s waterfront, with a view of its harbor glimpsed through the historic Rowes Wharf Arch, Trillium Brewing’s open-air setting is a striking centerpiece to the 1.5-mile greenway and offers a welcome respite from the urban grind at the heart of the city’s busy commercial center.

Trillium Garden on The Greenway was Boston’s first fully open-air beer garden and an exciting beer destination for as the brewery describes it “celebrating a variety of life’s moments.”

This from Esther Tetreault, the Co-founder of Trillium Brewing Company, and a woman who clearly loves Boston as much as she does its beer….

“After a couple of incredible seasons on the Greenway we can’t imagine summer without the Trillium Garden!”

“We love looking out at historic Rowes Wharf while watching the beautiful revitalization of Boston’s downtown landscape by the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy…with a beer in hand, of course.”

Their commitment to fostering shared spaces and community-building is perfectly aligned with our values and we’re proud to support their initiatives through the Garden on the Greenway.”

And Samantha McGinnis, Director of Programs and Earned Income at the Greenway Conservancy seemed just as pleased about Trillium’s return…

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Trillium Brewing and welcome visitors to a third season of Boston’s first open-air beer garden on The Greenway. Whether you’re exploring the park or relaxing after the work day, Trillium Garden is the perfect place to unwind and gather with friends, family, and coworkers this summer.”

Although the opening hasn’t been announced yet, Trillium did share the Garden on the Greenway’s operating hours: Wednesdays–Fridays from 2 p.m.–10 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m.–10 p.m., and Sundays from 1–8 p.m.
