Boston’s Trillium Brewing has been making expansive moves around that city for over the past decade, and its latest, Trillium Canton which the company calls its “forever home,” is pretty impressive.
Here’s the deal…
One of Boston’s hottest brewing operations, Trillium was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault in 2013.
And what started as a small brewing operation in South Boston has become a family of operations including a production facility in Canton, summer and winter beer gardens, a farm brewery in planning, a modern restaurant/brewery in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood and Trillium Fenway, an indoor/outdoor taproom near the historic baseball stadium.

Located 15 miles southwest of Boston’s downtown, Trillium Canton’s massive new headquarters opened its doors to the public on July 1st and with its sprawling green lawn punctuated with Adirondack chairs and Blue Mountain views, we’ve got to think it will be an immediate draw.
But that’s just the beginning…
As Boston Magazine reports, Trillium’s new home (which spans 20 acres) also features a 10-barrel brewhouse, an enormous industrial-chic 500-plus-seat taproom, a lushly landscaped beer garden, a wood-fired restaurant overseen by executive chef Tyler Kennett, formerly of Harvard Square’s Harvest, event spaces and a not yet opened distillery.

Trillium’s original brewery in Canton is still in operation but all the action has transitioned to its new beer destination and eventually its overall production will as well.
