One of Massachusetts most respected craft breweries will be opening a new brewing outpost in a stunning bayside location.

, Tree House Brewing To Open Cape Cod TaproomFounded in a small barn as a one man operation in 2O11, Tree House Brewing caught fire almost immediately. By the end of the year the Massachusetts brewery had “thirteen employees and 650-barrel cellar” according to the Boston Business Journal.

In 2017 Tree House moved from its humble roots to a 55,000-square-foot state-of-the-art production brewery in Carlton, MA which remains its headquarters today.

And now the brewery has announced plans for a new brewing outpost, in a spectacular bayside setting on Cape Cod.

Talk about a destination brewery…Cape Cod is a serious destination.

This from Treehouse Brewing…

We have always done whatever it takes to make the experience at Tree House absolutely great, and have committed to growing it along with our customer base if necessary.

This year we’ve reflected deeply upon the experience in Charlton and realized that many of the limitations currently in place are a function of over-demand and under-supply; not for beer, but as a communal gathering place. In spite of relentless effort and constant reinvestment to make it the simple, relaxed environment we have described, we continue to fail in the face of our ever-growing customer base.

Tree House Cape Cod is part of a broad effort to remedy to this problem, relieving pressure on our main campus while bringing the Tree House experience closer to you.

Our roots are deep in Massachusetts, and more broadly, New England, and calling a small sliver of the Cape home fills us with pride and purpose to do even better on your behalf. A brewery and taproom on the ocean or beach is rare and we couldn’t be more pleased to jump at the chance to enjoy it with you

Planned to open in the summer of 2021, will be brewing its own beer. Which is notable since Tree House doesn’t distribute beyond its take-out facility in Charlton.

Beer lovers willingly make a pilgrimage to the complex just to get their hands on beers like Tree House Julius, the brewery’s flagship New England-Style IPA.

And next summer beer fans will be traveling to Sandwich, MA, which is conveniently located near the entrance of Cape Cod, and doing the same.
