These are the words that Karl Marx may have said, if he was a brewer living in LA in the 21^st century (Karl Marx was the first hipster). The Eagle Rock Brewery (ERB) in Los Angeles has a similar philosophy: to bond together beer enthusiasts to help create a better beer culture and community for everyone. Co-owner and founder Jeremy Raub believes that this idea is the best way to help the developing craft beer community of LA blossom.

Hey it's Wednesday and it's Rumor Mill Time.....New Belgium Brewing has just announced the return of their "so cool" craft beer and film festival, "Clips," and we'll be giving you everything that we know so far. There's a battle brewing over beer in Florida, and in this fight, size does matter... growler size, that is.

Can Washington, DC handle another brewery? Atlas Brew Works' Justin Cox and Will Durgin think it can. They're doubling down on their belief and will be launching DC's newest craft brewery this spring. Named after the area's trendy and transitional Atlas District, where hip new restaurants are now as common as boarded-up store fronts once were, Atlas Brew Works has big plans to bring unique and mature beers to the Nation's Capitol.

Night Shift Brewing is one of Boston's newest and most respected breweries. It's located just outside of Boston in Everett and was founded by Rob Burn, Mike O'Mara, and Michael Oxton. In the year that's passed since Night Shift has opened, their popularity has grown tremendously. Clearly they are doing some really interesting things in the Boston area, so I was excited to be invited up to tour the brewery and to hang out with Michael Oxton.
