Hey it's Wednesday and it's Rumor Mill Time.....New Belgium Brewing has just announced the return of their "so cool" craft beer and film festival, "Clips," and we'll be giving you everything that we know so far. Plus we've got some fast-breaking craft beer news from our friends at the Boston Beer Company, as well as from Australian "rock gods" AC/DC. There's a battle brewing over beer in Florida, and in this fight, size does matter... growler size, that is.

Can Washington, DC handle another brewery? Atlas Brew Works' Justin Cox and Will Durgin think it can. They're doubling down on their belief and will be launching DC's newest craft brewery this spring. Named after the area's trendy and transitional Atlas District, where hip new restaurants are now as common as boarded-up store fronts once were, Atlas Brew Works has big plans to bring unique and mature beers to the Nation's Capitol.

Night Shift Brewing is one of Boston's newest and most respected breweries. It's located just outside of Boston in Everett and was founded by Rob Burn, Mike O'Mara, and Michael Oxton. In the year that's passed since Night Shift has opened, their popularity has grown tremendously. Clearly they are doing some really interesting things in the Boston area, so I was excited to be invited up to tour the brewery and to hang out with Michael Oxton.

We blame the industry for this... It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates - things were pretty much done. But clearly all that's changed. So here's some of what's happened in the world of craft beer while you were enjoying your weekend.

The second stop on my hoppy tour through the dairy land was Madison's first and only nanobrewery: One Barrel Brewing Company. With literally one barrel running at full capacity churning out 10 barrels a week, the supply doesn't quite meet the demand for this new and exciting operation.
