Hey it's Wednesday and it's almost the new year....And as we say good-bye to 2014 and ready ourselves for the new year, Rumor Mill continues to reflect on "the year that was" across the country. Plus we've an all-important update on what we've been drinking in the last week of 2014.

So many beers, So little time... Ninkasi has revamped their "Flagship Series" lineup for 2015. We've more on that for you - plus we've news about an exciting new collaboration from Terrapin and New Belgium that you'll want to chase down next year.

Today's music scene is in constant flux. The CD, which should effectively be dead, is still the top selling music format while Vinyl Records continue to whittle away at their market share, along with the dominant mp3 format. With streaming services, single sales and YouTube each playing prominent roles in how we consume popular music today, it only makes sense that our pop sensibilities would be as varied as ever.

We blame the industry for this... It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates - things were pretty much done. But clearly all that's changed.

So here's some of what's happened in the world of craft beer while you were off enjoying yourselves.

Every Brew-Who down in Brew-ville liked Beermas a lot... 

But the Butt-Clinch, who lived in a dry county just north of Brew-ville, did NOT!

The Clinch hated Beermas! The whole brewing season! Now, please don't ask why. Only his prude friends knew the reason. It could be his bottle caps weren't screwed on just right. It could be, perhaps, that his special diabetic shoes were too tight. But I think the most likely reason of all may have been that his liver was two sizes too small.

We'll have more on that, as well as other things breaking right now in the world of craft beer. Plus we've an all-important update on what we've been drinking lately.

It could be really easy to just continue on course, writing up articles about beer, posting brewery information, and giving you all the latest information on upcoming events. It would be easy for us to just drive straight ahead with our 2 pieces a day, and then look at statistics to see what was working.

But it would be short-sighted of us to not ask you for your feedback. Let's face it; all of us at ACB are essentially suffering from youngest child syndrome: we need constant approval. Why won't you help us out?
