Take Responsibility? Ha.

We have all been there. Out drinking with our buddies when something happens and we end up doing something stupid. Usually, however, it just ends up with you repeating the phrase: “wait a second, wait a second.” And when we have come down, we make our amends, sending texts and making calls, apologizing for our idiocy. Well not these guys…

Add this to the growing list of ridiculous litigations: voluntary manslaughter, grand theft, drug convictions, and attempted murder can be easily wiped out if you simply sue.

Doesn’t sound right? Well, that’s what’s happening in Idaho as inmates are suing beer and wine companies because they drank too much.

The $1 billion suit states that they were not adequately informed of alcohol’s addictive properties.

According to the Huffington Post, the companies named in the lawsuit are “Miller Brewing Company, Anheuser-Busch Co., Adolph Coors Co., Brown-Furman Co., American Brands Inc., Pepsi-Cola, RJR Nabisco, Gallo’s Winery, Ernest Gallo and Julio Gallo.” Wow. Wow.

Seriously? This is as ridiculous as suing McDonalds for you pouring hot coffee on yourself, or suing your landlord when you burn yourself on the water you didn’t test, or suing Budweiser because drinking it didn’t get you women. Good luck with that, guys.
