Sheetz, a legendary mid-Atlantic gas/convenience store chain, announced a bigtime collaboration with Goose Island Beer that should pair perfectly with the long Memorial Day Weekend.

Established in 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sheetz is one of America’s fastest-growing family-owned and operated convenience store chains with more than 20,000 employees.
The company which operates more than 600 store locations throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and North Carolina has evolved into much more than gas stations that sell snacks into outlets with award-winning foods and their own limited release beers.
Last November Sheetz released a special holiday beer that they did with the now Anheuser-Busch-owned Wicked Weed Brewing, an Asheville, North Carolina-based brewery renowned for its Sour Ales.
And now going into the long Memorial Day holiday. Sheetz is working with another Anheuser-Busch brewery, Goose Island Beer, and releasing an uber-limited Milkshake IPA at 489 Sheetz stores across Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia. Each store will carry approximately 30 4-packs that will be available while supplies last. And it will not be restocked once sold out so you’ve been warned.
Available on May 28th, but not until 4pm EST, and described as pairing best “with sunscreen, flip flops and a pair of shades,” Project I Scream, Brew Scream is a 6.8% ABV Milkshake IPA crafted with strawberry and banana puree.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Goose Island Beer Company, one of the most successful breweries in the entire country, to create this delicious milkshake beer for our customers,” said Ryan Sheetz, Vice President of Marketing and Brand at Sheetz.
“These last 14 months have been tough for all of us and as things start to improve in our communities, we’re hopeful this beer can lift the spirits of our customers as we embark on an exciting summer season.”
And its price is right too! Four packs of sixteen ounce cans of this limited edition Milkshake IPA will retail for a very affordable $7.99.
