Summer is ON! And American craft brewers are addressing the warm weather with interesting beer offerings you’re gonna want to have around.
Stout Stuff (Holland, MI) – New Holland Brewing has a new year-round addition to its popular Dragon’s Milk barrel-aged stout franchise that’s a conceptual first. Described a “smooth and creamy,” and pouring white as opposed to pitch black, New Holland Dragon’s Milk White is a 6% ABV barrel-aged White Stout with hints of oak, vanilla, cocoa and bourbon.
“The white stout is an entirely new Dragon’s Milk experience, pulling many of the same awesome flavor notes that our fans have come to love in our original bourbon barrel-aged stout, but presenting them in a way that is completely unique,” said Dominic Bergquist, brand manager for Dragon’s Milk. “It’s not simply a visual play. The hazy golden color is really just the first cue that this beer is going to be unique, with the aromas and flavors that follow making it something we feel is truly special to behold.”
Tropic-Ale (Indianapolis, IN) –Sun King Brewery, the second-largest craft brewery in Indiana and winner of the most GABF medals of all individual breweries in 2020 has a new Sunlight Cream Ale variation that’s available as part of this summer’s Sunlight Cream Ale Party Pack. Sun King Tropical Sunlight Cream Ale is a 5.3% ABV Cream Ale that melds a smooth malt character with bright tropical fruit flavors and coconut notes.
Shake It Up (Columbus, OH) – BrewDog USA makes an enormous double milkshake IPA that is currently available as part of its Summer Mixed Pack. Bursting with intense blueberry flavors and gigantic gummy notes, BrewDog Pulp Patriot Blueberry is a MASSIVE 9.5% ABV Milkshake IPA with an uber-creamy mouthfeel and chewy delivery.
