Modern Times And Stone Brewing Collaborate (Escondido, CA) – Two of craft beer’s most influential breweries have joined forces to release a nationally available collaboration beer that’s long overdue.
Unfortunately only available in California, Stone / Modern Times Wizards & Gargoyles Hazy Coffee IPA is an eye-opening 7% ABV India Pale Ale with coffee upfront and throughout, big tropical, creamy flavors and chocolate notes, as well as a a strikingly dry finish.
Stone Brewing and Modern Times go way back. A core group of the Modern Times team, including Founder and CEO Jacob McKean, branched out from the ranks of Team Stone years ago, which explains the a shared passion for serious hops. Melvin Asian-Style Imperial Pilsner
Royalty (Bend, OR) – A family and employee owned brewery since 1988, Deschutes Brewery has a new year-round offering that joins Fresh Squeezed IPA, Fresh Haze IPA and Lil’ Squeezy Juicy Ale as part of its Fresh Family line up. Crafted with a smart menu of Mosaic, Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo, Citra, Cashmere and El Dorado hops that were added at six different stage of the brewing process, Deschutes Royal Fresh Imperial IPA is a 9% ABV India Pale Ale that’s available in 6 pack bottles, 19.2 ounce cans, and on draft.
Far Out Far East (Alpine WY) – Melvin Brewing has a new summer offering that takes its inspiration from the Far East and runs with it… Brewed using jasmine rice and fermented with sake yeast, Melvin Asian-Style Imperial Pilsner is a dangerously drinkable limited release with an airy mouthfeel and mineral character.
A Stable Fall Staple (Waynesboro, VA) – On August 28, Stable Craft Brewing will be kicking off its Oktoberfest lineup with a gourdian goodie. Explained by the brewery as “best enjoyed on a cool, fall night next to a cozy fire,” Stable FUmpkin Ale is a 5% ABV limited release with big pumpkin pie aromatics and a rich malty finish.
