Grape Full (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has a new addition to its Barrel Aged Series that’s a smart homage to a favorite tequila cocktail, the Paloma. Sweet, salty and mouth-puckering, Founders Más Agave Grapefruit is a 9.7% ABV Imperial Gose Ale brewed with Agave and Sea Salt, before being aged to perfection and a dose of fresh grapefruit juice to ramp up its tanginess.
The Most Maryland Beer Ever! (Frederick, MD) – 2020 marks the 5th anniversary of what the Washington Post called ‘the most Maryland beer ever!” And Flying Dog’s McCormick Old Bay seasoned classic returns with a new look, and even more intriguing, a tart new recipe. Dead Rise Old Bay Gose is 5.7% ABV Sour Wheat Ale with lemon, a touch sea salt and Old Bay seasoning.
Notorious (Escondido, CA) – With summer’s arrival comes a unique seasonal that only a brewery as adventurous as Stone might attempt. In 2016 actor and comedian Jonah Ray (who drank a lot of POG juice while he was living in Hawaii) joined Stone brewer Kris Ketchum for a collaboration which inevitably became this cult classic. Brewed with passion fruit, orange citrus and guava (POG get it?) Stone Notorious P.O.G. is 4.5% ABV tart and fruity Berliner Weisse that’s available now for a limited time.
Sip This (Waitsfield, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids has announced a new addition to its roster that’s a little cousin to Lawson’s flagship Sip of Sunshine IPA. Formulated at their original 7bbl brewery in Warren, VT, Lawson’s Finest Liquids Little Sip IPA is a crushable 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale with a juicy, fruit-forward tropical character and bright floral aromatics.
