Seasonal Drinking – New Craft Beers And Limited Releases

, Seasonal Drinking – New Craft Beers And Limited ReleasesIt’s almost impossible keeping up with all the new beers coming down the pike. And here are five more newbies brewed to pair brilliantly with the season.

International IPL (London, UK / Paso Robles, CA) – London’s Beavertown Brewery and California’s Firestone Walker have joined “hands across the water” to create a very special international collaboration that will debut at the Firestone Walker Invitational in Paso Robles on June 3rd. Brewed with hops from both the Pacific Northwest and the United Kingdom (most notably Jester), and humorously named with a nod to both the UK brewery’s neighborhood and Firestone’s Pivo Pils, West Side Beavo, is a 6.5% IPL that speaks to both breweries’ fondness for brewing hoppy beers with complexity and balance.

Three Claws You Can Drink (Mount Pleasant, SC) – Westbrook Brewing has just released the third in their “claw-themed” IPA series and although it’s available in 16oz cans, you’ll have to drop by the brewery’s taproom to purchase them. Westbrook Three Claw is an 8% ABV hazy Imperial IPA, that’s well worth a road trip to a beautiful party of the country.

A Cosmic Collaboration (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic and Alpine Wyoming’s Melvin Brewing have teamed up to create an almost indescribable cosmic collaboration. Ecliptic + Melvin Space Ghost Golden Session Barleywine is an 8% ABV “unclassifiable phantasm” that’s complex yet infinitely drinkable and defies all explanations.

, Seasonal Drinking – New Craft Beers And Limited ReleasesGreat Artists At Great Divide (Denver, CO) – Great Divide has just released the second edition of the Denver Pale Ale Artist Series, where the brewery selects a different local artist to design a can that represents what the city of Denver means to them.  And although the beer itself will happily remain the same, this year they selected John Vogl of The Bungaloo to image their popular 5% ABV Denver Pale Ale.

As Gose Atlanta, So Goes The Nation (Atlanta GA) – Second Self Beer is this week releasing a spin-off of their popular Maverick & Gose. Made with organic Florida orange peel and freshly squeezed lime, and crafted to mimic the beloved Central American cocktail, Margarita in Gose is a 4.4% homage to festive, hot weather drinking.
