The beer biz never sleeps at American Craft Beer. And here’s just some of what’s been happening in the beer world while you were enjoying the weekend.

Non-Alcoholic Brewery Now At 10,000 Locations

Founded in 2002, Best Day Brewing is quietly taking over the non-alcoholic beer scene, and they are doing it fast. Heading into the summer of 2026, the country’s second-largest independent non-alcoholic craft brewer has expanded its reach dramatically.

This massive expansion highlights just how rapidly the brand is growing. Between 2022 and 2025, Best Day captured an extra 4% of the total grocery category share, and since April of last year, its presence on retail shelves has jumped by 18%.

And its wide spectrum of craft beer offerings are now available at more than 10,000 locations nationwide. Shoppers can find them at major chains like Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe’s, Target, Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, Meijer, Total Wine, and Wegmans.

Best Day Brewing is actively outperforming its competitors in the non-alcoholic segment. This past April, the Sausalito, California-based company nearly doubled its sales volume at Trader Joe’s and more than doubled its numbers at Kroger.

Unlike many commercial NA brands that stop fermentation early, Best Day brews their beers to full strength first. They then utilize a state-of-the-art membrane separation technology to gently extract the alcohol

Founder and CEO Tate Huffard notes that Best Day is built for whatever summer plans people have in store. By getting the beer onto more grocery shelves across the United States, Huffard says the goal is to make it easier for Americans to diversify their coolers and fridges, ultimately opening the door for people to discover just how good buzz-free craft beer can be.
