Flying Dog’s Newest Single Hop Arrives Alone! (Frederick, MD) – It’s been a good year for Flying Dog Brewery. They’ve been doing all kinds of cool things. One of our favorites is their Single Hop Imperial IPA series. The series started with only draft-only releases but 2012 marked the first time that their Single Hop’s , Newbies – New Craft Beer Releases That You Want to Look Out For – December 3were packaged in standalone 6-packs. Previous releases have included IPA’s brewed using Chinook, El Dorado, Citra (our favorite,) and Nelson Sauvin hops. November’s release uses only the Centennial hop and we’re excited to try it! Time to gather Round the Hearth (Seattle, WA) – Two Beers Brewing Company started a new seasonal series this year and they’ve just released something new. The Hearth  is a brand new beer and style for the brewery and the 22-ounce bottles are in stores now. As its name suggests, The Hearth is a winter warmer, brewed using seasonal spices and wine-soaked toasted oak chips – and weighing in at an agreeable 7.2% ABV.

And while we’re talkingTwo Beers you should know their super popular Jive Espresso Stout has just returned as well, but it’s only available on tap. So that’s good news for all of you Seattle-area residents and bad news for the rest of us….just saying.

(Okay, we think we get it.) Lord of Darkness is described as a Cascadian Dark Ale. It pours ruby red and weighs in at 7% ABV. The Brewer’s Share series boasts a line-up of small batch draft beers where each Full Sail brewer takes a turn hand-crafting their own single batch recipe and a portion of the proceeds benefit a local charity of their choosing.
