Two Big Ones from Smuttynose (Portsmouth, NH) – Smuttynose Brewing Company has just announced two big beer releases ……..
Smuttynose Brewing’s much anticipated Big A IPA is making its much heralded return today. After a five month hiatus, the Great British Beer Festival award-winning double IPA returns for a limited engagement. They only brew 100 barrels each month from October through January, so supplies of twelve ounce four packs and kegs will be limited and you’ll have to be on your game as well!
November 12th will mark the debut of the newest addition to the Smuttynose Big Beers Series. Zinneke is a Belgian-style stout, partially aged in bourbon barrels. The name “Zinneke” is slang that originally described mongrel dogs that lived along the river Zenne in medieval Brussels as well as a nickname for the city’s residents. Zinneke more than qualifies as a “big beer” clocking in at an aggressive 8.4% ABV and like all Big Beer releases, will become available in bottle-conditioned 22-ounce bottles and keg-conditioned kegs.

Libertine Time (Minneapolis, MN) – Fulton Beer’s just announced the release of their fall seasonal The Libertine for the first time ever. This release marks Fulton’s first foray into 750 mL bottles but they warn that The Libertine is an extremely limited release and will also be available on tap and in growlers at the brewery through November.
The Devil Made Them Do It! (Lake Mills, WI) – Tyranena Brewing Company recently announced the latest in their Brewers Gone Wild series – The Devil Made Me Do It, which they describe as an imperial porter brewed with Sumatran and Costa Rican coffee. This marks a return for the Devil which is returning from a four-year hiatus.
