October is ON and craft brewers are addressing fall’s arrival with exciting new offerings you’re gonna want to chase down this weekend.

Two Autumn Favorites Return (Longmont, CO) – Oskar Blues Brewery is returning two seasonal favorites timed to coincide with cooler weather and longer nights. “We’ve got you covered this fall with two heavy-hitting seasonals,” said Head Brewer Juice Drapeau. “Both beers are designed to deliver the ultimate cool weather-drinking experience.”

Seamlessly melding delicately balanced notes of bittersweet cacao and creamy coconut, Oskar Blues Death By Coconut is an award-winning 6.5% ABV Porter that earned a silver medal at the GABF in the chocolate beer category. And Oskar Blues Barrel-Aged Ten FIDY Imperial Stout is a massive 12.5% ABV seasonal with a layered complexity and a warming malt-forward finish that pairs perfectly with roaring campfires and incoming blizzards.

Darker Daze (Durango, CO) – With Ska Brewing’s newest release the days of disappointment over the seasonal departure of its Mexican Logger are over. Smooth and malty, yet with a mild bitterness from Tettnang, Cascade, and Saaz hops, Ska Mexican-Style Lager Dark is 5.2% ABV cold-weather seasonal with subtle caramel flavors and a touch of roast to the finish.

“We knew we needed an easy-drinking beer that could hold its own in the fall and winter months when Mexican Logger goes into hibernation,” says Ska Brewing COO Steve Breezley. “We spent three winters perfecting Mexican-Style Lager Dark— a true labor of love, and of lagers.”

Tea & Lime Time (Portland, OR) – Cascade Brewing has an interesting new fall release nurtured with limes and tempered by a tangy tea. Mildly tart, bright and refreshing, Cascade Ruby Lime is a 5.5% ABV Sour Wheat Ale aged in oak barrels and foudres for up to 10 months with late infusions of hibiscus tea and lime leaves.
