Heavy Seas Celebrates 25 Years of Brewing (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer is celebrating its more than two decades of brewing with a special limited release that harkens back to the company’s Clipper City roots. First aged in bourbon barrels and then finished in rye, Heavy Seas 25 is a massive 15.5% ABV Barleywine-like English Strong Ale with dense dark fruits, brown sugar, whiskey and spice notes and vanilla, toffee, and marshmallow aromatics.

“30 years of brewing, first with Sisson’s for 5 years, and now 25 years at Clipper City/Heavy Seas. What a ride said Heavy Seas founder Hugh Sisson. I never foresaw a career in business (I was supposed to be an actor), much less in brewing! It has been a blast. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.”

Greater Good Lucidity is an 8% ABV IPA that’s kind of a miracle… juicy, yet lucidly clear at the same time.

Brewed in collaboration with Bend based ski and snowboard company, SnoPlanks, Bend Sno’d In Winter IPA is a 6.5% British-Style Pale Ale with a sturdy malt-backbone and festive character.
