2021, hopefully a better year, is officially ON. And we’ve some fun new beer releases to pair with your weekend.
Hooked (Frederick, MD) – In August 2020, Flying Dog Brewery introduced a punchy new limited release that was such a “slam dunk” that the brewery is making it available as a year-round offering in 2021. Crafted with balanced blend of blood orange, pineapple and cherry juices, Flying Dog Vicious Hook is a 5.3% ABV “Fruit Punch” Sour…a sweet and sour combo that might leave you ‘hooked.’
“When the team was developing this recipe we knew we had something special, we’re just glad our fans agreed,” said Ben Clark, Brewmaster at Flying Dog Brewery. “My favorite aspect of the beer is the hint of nostalgia in the flavor and aroma. The beer smells and tastes just like the fruit punch we had when we were kids, with an added kick to transform it into a delicious adult version.”

Best enjoyed when it’s cold and brisk out, Samuel Adams Cold Snap is a 5.3% ABV unfiltered White Ale with an incredibly balanced menu of fruit, floral and spice tones and a smoother than ever finish.
Things Looking Hazy All Year-round At Stone (Escondido, CA) – In 2019, Stone Brewing trapped into two of 2019’s biggest brewing trends, lower ABV beers and the hazy IPA, and delivered something special…So special that the brewery is now making it available in 16oz 4-packs as its newest year-round offering. Brewed using a Norwegian Voss Kveik Ale yeast, which in addition to fermenting quicker at warmer temperatures produces intense orange citrus notes, Stone Neverending Haze IPA is a 4% ABV India Pale Ale with a medium body and a tangy mouthfeel.
Want S’more? (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing has sweet January release that could have you begging for s’more. Sweet, creamy, and made for fireside sipping, Hi-Wire S’mores Porter is an approachable 6% ABV homage to the beloved campfire treat that is brewed with chocolate, fresh vanilla, and cinnamon.
