Spring is ON and we’ve some interesting new beer releases that will pair smartly with your weekend.

Your Just Desserts (Baltimore, MD) – DuClaw Brewing is pushing the Pastry Beer envelope with three new releases….

DuClaw Sour Me Peach Cobbler Ale: Made with peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, this light-bodied 5.5% ABV Sour Ale is tart with a touch of sweetness and spice.

DuClaw It Was All A Dreamsicle Orange Vanilla Hazy Double IPA:  Reminiscent of a summertime Creamsicle, this medium-bodied 8.5% ABV Double IPA is crafted with orange juice, vanilla beans and lactose.

DuClaw The Pastryarch Oatmeal Cream Pie Imperial Honey Wheat Ale: Inspired by those ultra-fluffy vanilla oatmeal sandwich cookies and spiced to perfection, this 8% ABV Golden Ale delivers  powerful notes of cinnamon, clove, and ginger.

“These brews gave us great space to experiment with a few complex flavor concepts,” said DuClaw Director of Brewery Operations Chris Wood. “It was going to be important to balance, but not overpower, natural fruit sweetness from peaches and oranges with various spices, and we are excited about where we landed with all three.”

, New Summer Dessert Beers And Blueberry AlesFlying Dog Goes Big (Frederick, MD): At a time when many American craft brewers are cranking out session ales and light lagers, Flying Dog is bucking the trend with something enormous. Aggressively hop-forward and unapologetically high-octane, Flying Dog Kulture King is a 10% ABV Imperial Hazy IPA with intense fruit flavors and a juicy smooth mouthfeel.

“Over 95% of the hops in Kulture King are added after the boil,” said Flying Dog’s Brewmaster, Ben Clark. “Moving the hopping to the whirlpool greatly limits the bitterness and greatly increases the aroma and flavor, creating the perfectly hazy IPA profile.”

Blue-Buried (Lewiston, ME) – Baxter Brewing is returning an updated seasonal that celebrates Maine’s quintessential summer fruit, and the pleasures that sometimes comes when your cell phone is “out of range.” Now available on draft and 6-packs of 12oz cans, Baxter Out of Range Blueberry Ale is a 4.5% ABV summertime sipper that is crafted using natural blueberry flavors.
