2020 is ON and some of our favorite craft breweries, Firestone Walker and Cascade and Lakewood Brewing are releasing some very interesting things….

Firestone Walker Hops To It (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker is releasing two new single hop IPAs, that were developed in Firestone Walker’s Propagator pilot brewery in Venice, California…But both of these newbies are only available as part of the brewery’s  new Crafted Thru Hops mixed packs

Firestone El Dorado is a 5.6% ABV West Coast IPA with a next-generation hop variety from the Pacific Northwest that offers soft stone fruit flavors with notes of tropical melon and pear.

Firestone Motueka is a 5.6% ABV Hazy IPA crafted with a New Zealand-grown hop that delivers punchy flavors of tropical fruit, white grape and lemon zest.

The Firestone Walker Crafted Thru Hops Mixed Pack also comes with the following beers…And none of these suck either….

  • Union Jack (7.0% ABV): This aggressively hopped West Coast IPA showcases stunning pineapple, citrus and piney aromas along with exceptional dry hop flavors of grapefruit and tangerine. This intense brew finds its balance in honey-like pale malt sweetness.
  • Easy Jack (4.0%): This session IPA, available only in the bottle pack, is brewed and dry-hopped with a selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America, delivering massive hop aromas and a natural malt balance.
  • Luponic Distortion (5.9%) From the mind of Brewmaster Matt Brynildson, this beer features an ever-evolving mix of experimental hops, designed to deliver new and innovative flavors with each new release.

Cascade Gose Roselle is a 5.3% ABV Gose-style ale, aged in oak barrels for up to 10 months before infusing the brew with rose hibiscus, fresh Meyer lemon zest, ground coriander and Oregon coast sea salt.

A Patio Pleaser (Garland, TX) –Lakewood Brewing is making a Small Batch Can Series offering from 2019 its newest seasonal spring/summer seasonal. Brewed with agave, orange peel, key lime and lime juice and a hint of sea salt, Lakewood Muy Importante Margarita Mexican Lager is a 4.7% ABV patio pleaser that combines the best of both worlds.
