Going Nuts! (Minneapolis, MN) – Indeed Brewing is ramping up production on a beer that was originally planned to be a one-off release, but caught fire and is now seeing multi-state distribution into Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota markets. Developed in the company’s pilot brewery in Milwaukee, and described as “a beer to go nuts for” Indeed Pistachio Cream Ale is a 5.5% ABV not-so-limited release that is now seeing wider distribution.

The beer also set records in Indeed’s production, packaging, and sales departments. The first batch in May was the company’s largest one-off can run and sold out in a week, three weeks sooner than planned. The second run in July was almost twice the size and sold just as fast as it did in May

“The energy building behind this brand is palpable. It’s bonkers,” says Sales Director Ryan Bandy. “The reception to the liquid, the brand, and the drinking experience from both our retail customers and beer drinkers has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re doing our best to keep up with this running train.”

The Holy Grail for Hopheads (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is returning a legend with a bold, new bottle carrier and serious swagger.

Originally released in 2003, Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA is a HUGE IPA continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and dry-hopped with another whopping pallet of hops. Clocking in at 15-18% ABV, this abundantly hopped unfiltered Imperial IPA boasts sweet, almost candy-like, hop aromas with flavors of hop resin and a lingering bitterness.

“The release of 120 Minute IPA is always one of my favorite times of year. I’m beyond excited to grab a couple of bottles of this year’s batch to add to my cellar, as well as a bottle to crack open and share with my wife, Mariah,” said Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head founder and brewer. “And if you can muster up the self-control to allow your 120 Minute IPA to age for a couple of years, the flavors and aromas will grow even more complex, with greater notes of marmalade and an enhanced sherry-like character.”
