Fall is ON!  And we’ve more fun new releases that should pair smartly with the cooling weather…

Haunted (Portland, ME) – The award-winning Allagash Brewing Company is gearing up for the fall season with the return of something truly haunted. Inspired by the brewery’s love of pitch-black porters, Allagash Haunted House Dark Hoppy Ale is a 66.6% ABV seasonal with a coffee-flavored bitterness and hauntingly complex malty finish.

“Haunted House is one of our favorite fall traditions at the brewery,” said Allagash Brewmaster Jason Perkins. “It’s a great easy-to-drink beer as the weather cools down and we can’t wait for fans throughout our full distribution to enjoy it this fall.’

Funky Time (Washington, DC) – DC Brau is releasing the first in a new series of barrel-aged sours under the Harmonious Funk label and if you’re interested you’d best act quickly as there’s only 150 bottles of this exotic available.

“We have been building up our barrel program over the past several years, experimenting with different styles, wood and barrel origins,” says DC Brau co-founder and CEO Brandon Skall. “Our team has had a lot of fun crafting the new Harmonious Funk series.”

Aged for 16 months in a neutral oak barrel, Harmonious Funk #1 is a 5.6% ABV lager with tart fruit and funky flavors and a faint hint of cherry.

Deschutes Chasin’ Freshies represents the brewery’s pursuit of the freshest, most exciting hops each year.

This year Deschutes partnered with CLS Farms, a 5th generation farm in the Yakima Valley, choosing El Dorado hops with bright Honeydew notes and the unique Zappa hops, originally discovered in the wild in New Mexico, that present very rich passion fruit aromas. (6% ABV)
