Brewers are celebrating fall’s arrival with an interesting roster of beers that are built for the up-coming season.

Stein Season (Paso Robles, CA) – For years Firestone Walker celebrated “Stein Season” with its Oaktoberfest release, full-bodied Märzen-style lager that was aged French oak wine barrels but this year they collaborated with Mahrs Bräu, a legendary, independent family-owned brewery located in Bamberg, Germany, with 356 years of history and generations of German lager know-how.

Built on a foundation of genuine Bamberger Pilsen malt, the exact same base malt that Mahrs Bräu uses for its own legendary lagers in Bamberg,  Firestone + Mahrs Bräu Oktoberfest is a 6% ABV Fest Bier that is crisp, smooth, and drinkable, thanks to its long, cold lager fermentation stay.

Hey Pumpkin! (Boston, MA) – Samuel Adams has returned its take on the pumpkin ale that is currently available as part of its 2026 Fall Legends Variety Pack as well as in standalone 6-packs and 12-packs.

Brewed with real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and a subtle note of lemon zest to balance the sweetness, Samuel Adams Jack-O is an approachable 4.4% ABV Pumpkin Ale with a crisp, light-to-medium-bodied mouthfeel and deep amber-copper color.

Big Trip  (Atlanta, GA) –  SweetWater Brewing has an interesting new addition to its year-round roster that’s a high-octane extension of its popular Daytrip IPA.

Built on a deft mix of Mosaic, Idaho 7, Sultana, Citra, and El Dorado hops and a modest malt bill that avoids the heavy malt presence sometimes found in other Imperial IPAs, SweetWater Big Trip Double IPA is a balanced 9% ABV India Pale Ale that the brewery expects will appeal to both hard core craft fans and casual drinkers.
