March is ON and American craft brewers are welcoming in spring with more new variety packs that make buying beer in bulk cool again.
Firestone Walker Bottled IPA Mixed Pack
Firestone Walker is one of the breweries out there making craft beer variety packs that matter. And their latest bottled IPA Mixed Pack, (which unlike their canned IPA Mixed Pack is only available in California, Arizona and Nevada) celebrates the Paso Robles-based brewery’s savvy hop-instincts in many of their delicious variations.
Pairing two classics (both American Craft Beer favs) with an exclusive IPA originally developed at The Propagator, Firestone Walker’s R&D brewery in Venice, this bottled compilation offers a wonderful spectrum of India Pale Ales.

Hop Fighters (6.4% ABV) | Limited Edition
Hop Fighters, is a new age West Coast IPA destined to invade your senses. A clean malt base of 2-Row and Munich paves the way for a high-flying blend of Cashmere, Chinook and Idaho 7 hops, all from the great Pacific Northwest. The result is an out-of-this-world shootout of citrusy hop flavors with hints of tropical fruit.
Union Jack (7.0%)
Huge flavor that packs a punch. This is Union Jack — an icon of the West Coast IPA style, for those who liken their beer loud and proud. Named for the British Lion who cofounded our brewery, Union Jack offers intense flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, and pine.
Hopnosis (6.7%)
Hopnosis is an innovative IPA brewed with coveted Cryo Hops pellets. We double dry hop this beer with varieties from the U.S. and New Zealand, creating an explosion of tropical fruit flavors including mango, passionfruit, white grape, and lychee.

Shiner Deserts Dozen Variety Pack
The Spoetzl Brewery, home to Shiner Beer was founded in Shiner, Texas (population 2,069), in 1909, by Czech and German immigrants brewing beer with old-world traditions and recipes for Central Texas.
They’ve a new addition to their TexHex IPA Series that’s currently available as part of Shiners Deserts Dozen Variety Pack, a mixed pack that showcases the entire collection.
And here’s how Shiner Beer describes them…
Bruja’s Brew (7% ABV)
The first in the brewery’s bold set of Double IPAs, Bruja’s Brew is brewed with cactus water that delivers a hops-forward aroma and flavor that is a mix of bright, citrusy, resinous and tropical, featuring a medley of tangerine, pineapple, citrus and stone fruit.
Desert Mirage IPA (ABV: 8%)
The second in Shiner’s new TexHex IPA line, Desert Mirage is a full-bodied hazy IPA with tropical flavors of pineapple and tangerine. Floral and resinous, this brew has a long, complex finish.
Twin Dream (9.5% ABV)
This massive double IPA balances immense hops and malt for a full-bodied flavor. Uniquely brewed using a smart blend of American hops (Idaho 7 and Citra hops), Twin Dream evokes bold flavors of citrus and pine.
Wicked Haze (9.5% ABV)
The newest addition to Shiner’s IPA line is a punchy, tropical double hazy IPA with notes of pineapple, candied citrus and light pine. Brewed with cytogenetically enhanced Idaho 7 hops, this new India Pale Ale brings a light, crisp body, juxtaposed by a bold bouquet of hops with a slight resinous finish.
