New Belgium is going old school with a new Voodoo Ranger IPA promotion running in Chicago, home to some great films from the 80s.
And even though this campaign is a one a one day deal, and limited to the Chicagoland area it still was still kind of fun…
Here’s the deal…
On July 15th the nation’s fourth biggest craft brewery according to the Brewers Association is celebrating its newest Voodoo Ranger IPA release with a special beer delivery promotion.
And if you’re lucky that debut IPA will be delivered to you in a car that, even though the brewery avoided specifics, is tricked out to look like the famous time travel vehicle from “Back to the Future.”
“More people are utilizing beer delivery services than ever before,” said Dave Knospe, Brand Manager for Voodoo Ranger. “So, we thought, how can we bring a bit of fun to that experience? We’re excited to unveil 1985 IPA in such a nostalgic way. What’s better than beer delivery? Beer that’s delivered in a time machine!”
For the longest time New Belgium Brewing was defined by what it didn’t offer, an IPA. But the introduction of the Voodoo Ranger IPA line changed that, and its limited release variations have all become hot sellers.
Voodoo Ranger 1985 IPA is the latest in this popular series, a 6.7% ABV India Pale Ale with big mango, pineapple and papaya aromatics that New Belgium suggests “takes you back to the future of hazy IPAs.”
For a chance to participate in this one-day-only event, sign up now with Minibar Delivery and schedule an order for 1985 IPA for delivery between the hours of 2-7pm on July 15th, 2020, or they can order on-demand delivery between the hours of 2-7pm on July 15th, 2020. And ten lucky fans will receive their delivery via a gigawatt time machine.
A portion of the delivery proceeds will be donated to the Comp Tab Relief Fund, a community-based fund created by and for hospitality professionals to provide financial aid and resources for those in Chicagoland affected by statewide COVID-19 closures.
