Fall has arrived and American craft brewers are addressing the changing seasons with an intriguing roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around as things cool down and the nights grow longer.
The Batch Is Back (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has a new One Batch Dispatch Series release that is exclusively available at all Stone’s taproom locations and at its online store where you can have it shipped fresh to your door in CA, DC, OH and VA!
Inspired by German styles like Märzen, Dunkel and Schwarzbier, Stone Ghoulish Delights is an 8.7% ABV Dark Imperial Lager brewed with maple syrup and bourbon oak chips. Stone brewers Ashley Collins and Rich Carney were aiming for a ghoulish twist on a dark lager. The trick: bourbon oak chips to lend complexity and a warming finish. The treat: Vermont maple syrup for a touch of sweetness.

A Fall Favorite Returns (Colorado) – Among the crop of Lone Tree Brewing beers made for the fall season is one of the South Metro Denver brewing company’s most talked about offerings. And with the advent of fall, it returns on September 27.
This sweet sounding beer actually gets its sweeter notes not from added sugar, but from a large amount of Crystal 60 malt in the grain bill and Madagascar vanilla beans, Lone Tree Vanilla Caramel Amber is a 6% ABV limited release with a subtle bitterness and smooth toffee flavor that is perfect for warm fires and chilly nights.
Just Peachy (Bend, OR) – 10 Barrel Brewing is deservedly renowned for its big, bold IPAs, but they also offer an impressive family of sour ales, and there’s one variation that’s just peachy.
Currently available exclusively in the brewery’s special Crush Variety Pack, 10 Barrel Crush Peach Sour is a light and crisp 5.3% ABV Sour Wheat Ale that’s crafted with fresh peaches and pairs brilliantly with the last days of summer.
