New Beer Alert: Fresh Hop India Pale Ales And Dark Nitro Stouts

Brewers are celebrating fresh hop season and fall’s arrival with an exciting roster of beers that you’re gonna want to have around as the days get cooler and the nights longer.
It’s Fresh Hop Season The Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR) – Fresh hop season is ON Von Ebert Brewing is celebrating things with two of the freshest IPAs on the face of the planet.
Von Ebert’s first release Fresh Hop Volatile Substance NW IPA, is an uber-fresh showcase of Simcoe hops from Coleman Agriculture, with sticky pine resin and sweet citrus tones that linger.
In mid-September Von Ebert Brewing will also release Fresh Hop Sector 7 Hazy IPA highlighting Krush hops from Perrault Farms. Sector 7 Hazy IPA has notes of ripe pineapple, ruby red grapefruit and sweet green melon.
“We’re lucky to be in the Northwest making beer where nearly all of America’s hops are grown. This geographic advantage allows us to celebrate fresh hops in a way other breweries can’t. We’re also able to partner with local hop growers right in our backyard,” said Sam Pecoraro, brewmaster of Von Ebert Brewing. “At Von Ebert Brewing, we’re proud to have evolved our traditional beer offerings with fresh Oregon-grown hop varieties from our partners at Goschie Farms, Coleman Agriculture and Perrault Farms.”
These fresh hop beers will be available at all Von Ebert Brewing locations along with Northwest bars, bottle shops and grocery stores starting now through October or while supplies last.

Nitro-Mania (Kansas City, MO) – Boulevard Brewing has returned a classic after more than a decade on hiatus. Inspired by ultra-creaminess that has long defined the nitro-infused style Boulevard’s Nitro Dry Stout is a 4.9% ABV Irish Dry Stout with roasty malt aromatics, dark chocolate and espresso notes, a crisp, dry finish and subtle bitterness at the back end.
“We’ve recently seen a surge in popularity and demand for Irish-style dry stouts, and luckily, we had a familiar recipe sitting in our archives. Nitro Dry Stout is a legacy favorite that long-time fans of the brewery will remember well,” said Boulevard’s brand manager, Adam Hall. “Each sip offers an honest, heartfelt experience brewed with patience, purpose and deep respect for the style that inspired it.”
First produced in 1996, Boulevard Dry Stout is now available in uber-gracious 16oz Nitro cans, thanks to the brewery’s updated packaging technology.
And we couldn’t be more excited that’s it’s now a year-round offering.
