With Memorial Day now far behind us, summer is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with a smart roster of new releases you’re gonna want to have around.
Instate Parking (East Aurora, NY) – 42 North Brewing Company is launching a special beer to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of New York State Parks. Brewed with 100% New York State ingredients. 42 North Centennial Pilsner is a 5% ABV West Coast-Style lager featuring for different label commemorating four of the state’s oldest and most renowned parks. It’s main ingredient is pilsner malt from New York Craft Malt, as well as Centennial, Chinook, and Excelsior hops grown in the region.
The New York State Park system was founded in April of 1924 with the forming of the New York State Council of Parks. New York State now boasts 180 state parks and 335,000 acres of parkland. In 2024, visitation to New York State Parks hit an all-time high with over 84 million visitors.

Summer Best (Chico, CA) – Lagers leave little place to hide, so the beer’s balance and mouthfeel matter. And Sierra Nevada’s recently returned a terrific summer seasonal that succeeds on several levels. Deftly balanced, but not at the cost of its complexity, Sierra Nevada Summerfest is a 5% ABV American-Style Pilsner which was crafted using Munich, pilsner and two-row pale malts that offset a fragrant and spicy mix of Magnum, Saphir, Tettnang and Tradition hops.
“We’re best known for hop-forward beers like IPAs, but when the weather gets warm, there’s nothing like Summerfest. It’s refreshing and crisp but with the same high-quality you’d expect from any of our beers,” says Brian Grossman, Chief Technical Officer and second-generation brewery owner. “Summerfest is a delicate and complex pilsner inspired by the classic Czech style. It hits the spot on a summer day.”

Delicious Delivers (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has a new addition to its impressive Delicious Series, which like all the beers in the line is also gluten reduced. A gluten-reduced Hazy IPA is hard to come by. Not only does this one exist, but it also packs an unparalleled flavor rendering that gluten conversation nearly irrelevant.
Crafted with Sabro, El Dorado and Azacca hops, Stone Delicious Hazy IPA is a 7.2% ABV year-round offering with peach and pineapple notes and a lingering finish.
“The Brewing Team takes the challenge of calling a beer ‘Delicious,’ very seriously and all four of the beers need to live up to that name,” explained Jeremy Moynier, Senior Manager of Brewing &Innovation. “Stone Delicious Hazy IPA definitely lives up to the Delicious standard and is a great addition to the Delicious family of beers.”
