Heavy Seas Gets Crabby (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer has a brand new collaboration release that they did with Outer Banks Boil Company, who specializes in the Low-Country Coastal Seafood and Shrimp Boils. Brewed to pair perfectly with their fresh seafood and in-house spices, Heavy Seas Boil Beer is a 5% ABV Pilsner with a crisp malt backbone and herbaceous hop profile.
“We brewed Boil Beer with a variety of European hops for a bright and zesty aroma,” says Heavy Seas Brewmaster Chris Leonard. “Boil Beer is the perfect beer for enjoying a boil pot in the sun and we couldn’t be more excited to partner up with Outer Banks Boil Company this summer.”
Available in 16oz cans on August 29th at the Heavy Seas Brewery, its newest collaboration will also become available in late August at the Carolina Beach, NC location.
Peanut Butter Cupped (Dallas, TX) – First introduced last year as part of Lakewood Brewing’s Seduction Series, it disappeared in just 10 days, and now they are bringing it back. Politely described “as the beer equivalent of a peanut butter cup,” Lakewood Peanut Butter Temptress is a 9.1% ABV Imperial Milk Stout brewed with dark, bittersweet cocoa, a hint of vanilla and sea salt.
So good You’ll Wanna Holler! (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has a new Hop Cycle rotating IPA release that’s inspired by brewery’s annual pilgrimage to the Pacific Northwest to select succulent hops for this season and next. Brewed with a bright medley of Citra, Simcoe and Galaxy hops that are tethered to a rich malt backbone, Tröegs Lucky Holler Hazy IPA is a 6.8% ABV hazy, hoppy harvest ale with big notes of ripe pineapple, juicy citrus and passionfruit.
