One of Vermont’s most popular craft breweries, has big plans for the year, with six special seasonals that definitely caught our attention…
Here’s the deal…
Waitsfield, Vermont-based Lawson’s Finest Liquids is kicking off the new year in a big way. In addition to its year-round offerings and the Super Session IPA Series, Lawson’s will be celebrating the seasons with a lineup of impressive special releases available throughout a nine state New England footprint.
The first of this year’s specialty releases (available in April and May) is Knockout Blonde, a 5% ABV Blonde Ale with BIG hop aromatics
To celebrate the warmer weather Lawson’s will release not one, but two versions of its signature Pilsner, Scrag Mountain Pils. This 4.8% ABV lager is named in tribute to the brewery’s pristine water-source, an aquifer deep beneath Scrag Mountain. And in addition to the original recipe, Lawson’s is releasing Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime in late spring, a well-balanced dance of crisp and tart.
In July, the brewery will be giving a popular taproom favorite from 2020 much broader exposure…Crafted with 8 hop varieties from all over the world, Hopcelot, a 7% ABV India Pale Ale, will be available in July and August.
Ushering in the fall is another small batch original seeing wider distribution in 2021. Brewed with a massive charge of New Zealand grown Nelson Sauvin & Pacific Jade hops, Kiwi Double IPA is an 8% ABV India Pale Ale that celebrates the season’s changing with a hop blast from the Southern Hemisphere.
And in November and December Lawson’s Finest, which was founded by Sean and Karen Lawson in 2008, will be upping the ante with its biggest IPA of the year. Brimming with juicy notes of pineapple, grapefruit and lychee and dry-hopped out of its mind, Triple Sunshine is its flagship Sip of Sunshine IPA turned up to a 10.5% ABV eleven!
