Fall Beer Alert – New Oktoberfest Ales, Imperial Stouts And Hazy IPA’s

Fall is here and things are getting even more seasonal in our latest collection of new releases…And we’ve five intriguing craft beer directions that you might want to chase down as we all say goodbye to summer.

Left Hand Celebrates Big (Longmont, CA) –Left Hand Brewing will be celebrating 25 years in the biz at this week’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver (Sept 20^th-22^nd) with the debut of something very special . A showcase of interweaving dark chocolate, cherries and roasted coffee notes, Left Hand 25^th Anniversary Imperial Stout is a 12.1% ABV very limited release that you need to make sure you hit if you’re at GABF.

A Badger Statement (Green Bay, WI) – Wisconsin’s Badger State Brewing will finally be canning one of their most popular beers and even better it comes in 16oz cans. Named after the Chippewa Indian’s word for Wisconsin, Badger State Grassy Place Hazy IPA is a 6.5% ABV New England-style India Pale Ale.

Elysian Returns An Original (Seattle, WA) – One of the things that Elysian Brewing is best known for is their pumpkin beers and they’ve just returned the first one that they ever brewed. Elysian Night Owl is a 6.7% ABV unfiltered Pumpkin Ale that’s crafted with roasted pumpkin and raw pumpkin seeds, and spiced in the conditioning stage with nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger and allspice.

 

Hunted Down (Los Angeles, CA) – Boomtown Brewery will be releasing something fairly audacious this weekend featuring some incredible can artwork by LA’s famed J Collins. Bold, and then some, Boomtown’s The Hunted is an 8.4% ABV New England-style IPA with a fruit-forward profile and juicy ambience.

Sam Adams Celebrates Oktoberfest (Boston, Ma) – One of the Boston Beer Company’s most celebrated seasonals has returned…And with Oktoberfest season now upon us, not a moment too soon. Sporting a malt-forward sweetness that’s tastefully tempered by sturdy Bavarian Noble hops, Samuel Adam Oktoberfest is a 5.2% ABV Märzen Lager that gives the German classic a nuanced American twist…
