Evil Genius Beer is once again tapping into the cultural zeitgeist, this time with White Castle, the little hamburger houses with the little slider burgers you’d down when you got the munchies after a night on the town.

Here’s the deal…

Philadelphia’s Evil Genius Beer Co. marches to their own drummer, and they have an instinct for tapping into fun and unlikely partnerships. In 2020 they worked with Jameson Irish Whiskey on a peanut butter cup porter beer they called Jameson Barrel Aged Purple Monkey Dishwasher.

That same year Evil Genius partnered with partnered with Miller High Life on another unlikely limited release.

Described as the “Mimosa of Beers,” a riff on the longstanding Miller High Life moniker, the “Champagne of Beers,” Miller High Life / Evil Twin Brunch So Hard was a 6.5% ABV Hazy IPA that combined the lightness and brightness of the heritage lager with a fruit-forward India Pale Ale.

And now Evil Genius has partnered with White Castle, home to The Original Slider®, America’s first fast-food hamburger chain, since 1921, and home to the frozen retail Sliders, which celebrates 35 years on a new beer that pairs perfectly with those miniature burgers.

White Castle / Evil Genius It Hits Different is a 6.5% ABV Tangerine IPA brewed with Sabro Hop and Centennial hops to celebrate White Castle’s recent hundredth birthday and underscore the brand’s duality of innovation and long-standing heritage.

“Nostalgia is such a big part of our brand and with White Castle’s over one hundred year legacy it just seemed like a perfect fit to partner with them to create a beer that is as memorable as it is tasty,” said Evil Genius Co-Founder, Trevor Hayward.

“Evil Genius knows a thing or two about thinking original–so when they approached us on the idea of partnering on the It Hits Different White Castle-inspired beer, it was easy to raise our glasses and say cheers,” added Lynn Blashford, CMO, White Castle.

Unfortunately the new beer won’t be found at your favorite White Castle house. But it will be available starting October 3rd in stores throughout Evil Genius’ distribution footprint including DE, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, VA, and RI.
