Philadelphia’s Evil Genius Beer Co. marches to their own drummer, and they have an instinct for tapping into fun and unlikely partnerships. In 2020 they worked with Jameson Irish Whiskey to temper a peanut butter cup porter beer they called Jameson Barrel Aged Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
That same year Evil Genius partnered with partnered with Miller High Life on an unlikely limited release.
Described as the “Mimosa of Beers,” a riff on the longstanding Miller High Life moniker, the “Champagne of Beers,” Miller High Life / Evil Twin Brunch So Hard was a 6.5% ABV Hazy IPA that combined the lightness and brightness of the heritage lager with a fruit-forward India Pale Ale.
Then in 2022 Evil Genius partnered with America’s first fast-food hamburger chain,White Castle, on a special release they called It Hits Different, a 6.5% ABV Tangerine IPA brewed with Sabro Hop and Centennial hops that celebrated White Castle’s hundredth birthday.
And now they’ve teamed up with White Castle again on another fun IPA…

Brewed with reckless a mix of both Simcoe and Strata hops, White Castle / Evil Genius Main Character Energy is a 6% ABV Hazy Kiwi Dragon Fruit IPA with a tropical citrus character that pairs perfectly with those miniature burgers that the world knows as The Original Slider®.
“Both Evil Genius and White Castle have long been innovators in their respective spaces,” said Trevor Hayward, co-founder of Evil Genius. ”With the success of the first beer we knew we had to lean into our shared talent for creativity to up the ante.”

Unfortunately the new beer won’t be found at your favorite White Castle house. But it will be available starting April 3rd in stores throughout Evil Genius’ distribution footprint including CT, DE, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, VA, and RI.
