Craft Beer and Cider’s Biggest Events Co-Locate To San Antonio in 2027

The craft beer and cider worlds will be coming together in Texas next year.
The Brewers Association and the American Cider Association have announced that CiderCon and the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America will be held side by side in San Antonio, Texas, from April 5 through April 7, 2027.
The move marks a new chapter for two of the independent beverage industry’s biggest annual gatherings. While the events will share a location and create more opportunities to connect, each will continue to maintain its own identity, programming, and community focus.
For brewers and cidermakers, the overlap makes sense. Both industries are navigating many of the same realities, from changing consumer tastes and tighter business conditions to finding new ways to innovate and grow.
Brewers Association president and CEO Bart Watson said the goal is to create more opportunities for learning, collaboration, and business development while preserving what makes each event unique.
The Craft Brewers Conference, (or the CBC as it’s known in the biz), will continue as one of the beer industry’s most important annual events, bringing together brewers, suppliers, and beverage professionals from across North America and beyond. if you’re in the craft beer biz, have friends in the industry, or hope to work in it yourself one day, It’s important to be there.
At the same time, CiderCon will keep its dedicated cider programming intact, including technical education, networking opportunities, and the traditions that have helped shape the event over the years.
Christine Walter, president of the American Cider Association Board of Directors and owner of Bauman’s Cider in Oregon, said the partnership reflects how collaborative independent beverage alcohol has become. She noted that sharing space with CBC opens the door to broader networking, expanded educational opportunities, and greater access to suppliers and services while keeping the cider community’s own culture and traditions front and center.
Organizers expect the co-location to create added value for attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors by opening up new connections across adjacent beverage categories and creating a broader exchange of ideas.
