Football is a big deal in America.

While some fans still cling to the idea that baseball is the nation’s national sport, The NFL, which consists of 32 teams divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC), is an economic powerhouse with millions of fans, and many of them drink beer.

Anheuser-Busch is also a behemoth.

In 2021 Anheuser-Busch announced that was renewing its global partnership with the NFL as the exclusive beer (and hard seltzer) sponsor and that deal is “kicking off” (sorry) with a major presence during offseason, including becoming the official presenting sponsor of the 2022 NFL Draft which will take place in Las Vegas, April 28-30.

As presenting sponsor, Bud Light will have prominent branding on the Main Stage, signage throughout the Draft and will take lead as part of the NFL Draft’s Concert Series in Las Vegas this year.

In addition, Bud Light, the #1 beer brand in the biz ,will have a fully integrated marketing campaign, which will bring fans closer to the marquee event, whether they are watching from home or are in Las Vegas.

And it appears the NFL is equally happy to ‘play ball’ with Anheuser-Busch this offseason…

“We’re looking forward to the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas and to having Bud Light there as the presenting sponsor.” said Tracie Rodburg, Senior Vice President, Sponsorship Management, National Football League. “For years Bud Light has been a staple during the NFL’s regular season and we’re thrilled they will now be alongside us during our offseason, and there is none bigger than the Draft.”
