Football season is back, which means Bud Light (the Official Beer Sponsor of the National Football League for over 20 years), is back doing what Bud Light does best.
This time the nation’s longtime NFL beer sponsor has teamed up with Fanatics on something called Can-O-Flage, an insulated koozie that lets fans turn any beer can into a team-branded Bud Light can.
And yes, Peyton Manning and Shane Gillis are involved, and neither is exactly a stranger to Bud Light.
Manning’s current run with the beer brand dates back to 2023, when the Pro Football Hall of Famer teamed up with Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith for Bud Light’s “Easy Rounds” campaign and its biggest Super Bowl ticket giveaway at the time.
He returned for the 2024 Super Bowl alongside Post Malone and UFC president Dana White in the wonderfully ridiculous “Bud Light Genie” commercial, which had a mysterious tracksuit-wearing genie granting increasingly absurd wishes.
Then Shane Gillis got in the game.
The comedian partnered with Bud Light in 2024 on a college football campaign that he not only starred in, but helped write with longtime collaborator John McKeever. Gillis subsequently joined Manning and Post Malone for Bud Light’s 2025 Super Bowl campaign, “Big Men on Cul-De-Sac,” one of the funniest beer ads of that year.
The trio reunited yet again for the brewer’s 2026 Super Bowl commercial, “Keg,” which found them at a wedding going to extraordinary lengths to keep the beer flowing.
Clearly Bud Light likes what these guys bring to their campaigns.

And with another NFL season getting underway, Manning and Gillis are back, this time helping the beer giant introduce Can-O-Flage.
The idea addresses a surprisingly real problem for displaced football fans. Bud Light releases limited-edition NFL team cans in participating markets every season, but if you’re a Denver Broncos fan living in Philadelphia, good luck finding Broncos Bud Light cans at your neighborhood beer store.
Can-O-Flage is the ultimate fix.
The $39.99 insulated sleeves slip over a standard beverage can, instantly transforming whatever you’re drinking into something that looks like an official Bud Light NFL team can.
Twenty-seven of the league’s 32 teams are represented. The Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Vikings are sitting this one out.
Manning gets to have some fun with the concept because he spent his Hall of Fame career with two teams. In his Can-O-Flage spot, the two-time Super Bowl champion switches between Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos sleeves.
Gillis, a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, gets paired with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle in another spot that plays off the considerably less friendly world of NFL rivalries and swapping opposing team cans.
So is a $40 camouflage outfit for your beer can something anyone actually needs?
Probably not.
But neither are giant inflatable beer halls for your front yard.
And somehow that’s part of the fun.
