In 2008, Co-Founders Ted Rice, Jeff Jinnett, and John Gozigian opened Marble Brewery with a mission to provide bold, hand-crafted ales and lagers to the southwest. Jeff, John and Ted had been working in the brewpub business for years but wanted to open a production brewery with an on-site tasting room and outdoor beer garden in downtown Albuquerque. As the guys searched for a suitable location, they came across an old HVAC warehouse located just blocks from the historic Southwest Brewery and Ice Company. The location seemed perfect and the old warehouse was well-suited for a brewery. Marble Brewery takes its name from Marble Avenue, which is in the warehouse district at Albuquerque's northernmost boundary. The brewery draws people from all walks of life and has become a central meeting spot for lawyers, government officials, artists, students, and anyone else looking for artisanal beer and a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to our downtown location, we have two taprooms, one located on Albuquerque's Westside and one overlooking the plaza in Santa Fe. At our downtown pub and our two taprooms, we always offer a line up of seven house beers and a variety of seasonal styles in draft and bottle. We also self-distribute our product in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas to ensure optimum freshness and quality. In the rest of the state and in Colorado, we rely on our partners at National Distributing Company, who share our passion for craft beer. Our beers are also available on tap and in the bottle in hundreds of restaurant, bar and retail locations throughout the state of New Mexico.
